WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Improvements to flood protection in Cedar Rapids are becoming reality in Washington.
Today--the House passed the Water Resources Development Act.
The act will create a $67 million flood risk management project in Cedar Rapids.

The Senate passed their own version of the bill earlier this year.
