Flood Recovery Bill Passed In House

WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Improvements to flood protection in Cedar Rapids are becoming reality in Washington.
    Today--the House passed the Water Resources Development Act.
    The act will create a $67 million flood risk management project in Cedar Rapids.
            Representative Bruce Braley says that he is thrilled that the bill is moving forward in Congress.
    The Senate passed their own version of the bill earlier this year.
    The two will now head to a committee to fix the differences.
