Iowa Receives "C" Rating on Preterm Birth Rate

DES MOINES, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Iowa is celebrating its sixth consecutive year of improving preterm birth rates - but there's still work to be done.
The state earned a "C" on the March of Dimes report card in 2013.
The percentage of preterm births this year was up slightly from last year -- but the organization believes it is just a small obstacle in     Its long term improvement goal.
They say they'll continue to work with area hospitals to improve prenatal care across the state.
