Prescription Painkiller Controls

   Prescription painkillers may soon be harder to get.
   The Food and Drug Administration is now considering stricter controls on narcotic medications like Vicodin.
   Right now, Vicodin is the most common prescription for pain, and patients can get it up to five times between doctor visits.
   Health officials now want to make it harder to get.
   The FDA will submit a formal recommendation in December.
   The final decision comes from the Drug Enforcement Administration
