Dehumidifiers Recalled for Fire Risk

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A potential fire hazard has prompted the recall of more than 2 million dehumidifiers.

They were manufactured by Gree Electric Appliances and under a variety of brand names, including Danby, De'Longhi, Fedders, Fellini, Frigidaire, Gree, Kenmore, Norpole, Premiere, Seabreeze, SoleusAir and SuperClima.

 There have been dozens of reports of fires and more than $2 million in property damage.
