Hills Sex Offender Facing New Charges

HILLS (CBS 2/FOX 28) - A convicted sex offender is back in jail, charged with living in a home with two small children.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Department arrested Casey Joel Lindus after learning he was living at a home with the children.

Police reports say the information was supplied by a "concerned citizen" who knew Lijndus was a convicted sex offender.

Lindus had registered his residence with police in May and again in August, but stated only that he was living with his sister.

Checking out the tip, deputies discovered Lindus was actually living in a home with his sister, two small children and another man.

He was arrested and charged with failing to properly register his address.
