Eastern Iowa Duck Race Totals

CEDAR RAPIDS (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- The 5th Annual Great Eastern Iowa Duck Race brought in $65,000 for local charities. Daybreak Rotary announced the grand total Tuesday, which they raised with the help of sponsors and the community, who adopted 15,000 ducks!

The money will go toward the Child Family Community Partnership, which includes Boys & Girls Clubs of Cedar Rapids, Tanager Place and Young Parents Network. Others receiving money are the Jon Cushing Sunshine Grant Fund, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Four Oaks.

With this money, these organizations can collectively serve more than 1,500 youth in the community.

In five years, Daybreak Rotary has given back $330,000 to area families and youth in need.

CBS 2/FOX 28 are proud media sponsors of the Eastern Iowa Duck Race.
