Cedar Rapids Superintendent Reacts to Vote

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Cedar Rapids School District leaders are trying to figure out why the community voted against their request for more money.
The District asked to double the current building levy to pay for facility improvements.
The measure failed by 14 percent.
Meanwhile, Kirkwood College got it's levy approved for the next ten years.
It will not be increasing, just staying the same.
