Hawkeye Locker Room Broken Into

AMES (CBS 2/FOX 28) - Iowa State University police have confirmed to the Des Moines Register news paper that while Iowa was defeating Iowa State for the Cy-Hawk Trophy, the Hawkeye's locker room was being looted.

Police tell the paper that it appears "personal items" were taken from both the player's and coach'S locker room at some point during the game.

Local police are involved in the thefts, but more information isn't expected to be released until Monday.

The thefts occured in the Jacobson Athletic Building, which is just north and adjacent to Jack Trice Stadium where the Hawkeyes defeated the Cyclones 72-21.
