"Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" Results

   The Linn County Sheriff's Office joined up with law enforcement across the state of Iowa from August 26th until September 8th for the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.
   Additional deputies were on the streets to watch for drivers operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
   During that time, Linne County Sheriff's Deputies spent more than 88 extra hours patroling area roadways.
   30 people were arrested, 123 people were given tickets, and 197 people received warnings.
   A large chunk of the traffic stops were for speeding.

   5 - OWI Arrests
   11 - Suspended /Revoked Drivers License Arrests
   13 - Seat Belt/Child Restraint Citations
   56 - Speeding Citations
   85 - Speeding Warnings
   3 - Drivers License Violation Citations
   5 - Registration Violation Citations
   21 - Registration Violation Warnings
   15 - No Proof of Insurance Citations
   22 - No Proof of Insurance Warnings
   42 - Misc. Traffic Violation Citations
   80 - Misc. Traffic Violation Warnings
   1 - Misc. Equipment Violation Citations
   25 - Misc. Equipment Violation Warnings
   22 - Motorist Assists
   10 - Arrest Warrants Served
