Man Drowns in Dubuque

DUBUQUE (CBS 2/FOX 28) - Police in Dubuque may release the identity of a drowning victim later today.

Police say they got a call of a possible drowning at Miller Riverview Park just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

On arriving, they found bystanders had pulled a man from the Mississippi River and were trying to revive him.

The man, as yet unidentified, was taken to the Finley Hospital emergency room where he was pronounced dead.

The incident is still being investigated.
