Chopper Makes Emergency Landing

VINTON, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- A helicopter pilot managed to make an emergency landing in a field Tuesday morning near Vinton.  Police tell CBS 2 News they were called to a field behind Theisen's Supply just after 10:30am for a report of an aircraft down.
Officers say the crop dusting helicopter reportedly had engine problems during take-off.  The pilot, Dick Sluke of Montana, was forced to make an off-field landing of the chopper.
Investigators say the aircraft sustained minor damage in the incident and the pilot escaped without injury.  The NTSB has been notified and will take over the investigation.
