Dubuque Drowning

DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP)--Authorities have released the name of a man whose body was pulled from the Mississippi River by bystanders in Dubuque.

He was identified as 54-year-old Francis Cheety, of Dubuque.

The incident occurred at Miller Riverview Park around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

The bystanders tried to revive him, but Cheety was pronounced dead later at a Dubuque hospital.

Police don't suspect a crime was involved in Cheety's death and an autopsy is scheduled.
