Latest Cyclospora Numbers

CEDAR RAPIDS (CBS 2/FOX 28) --
   The number of Iowans getting sick from a rare parasite is still rising about a month after the outbreak first began.
   The Iowa Department of Public Health says they've seen 118 cyclospora infections.
   That's a jump of 9 new cases since last Friday.
   Officials say most of the illnesses began in mid to late June, but many people have said they're still sick and some have suffered relapses.
   Investigators are looking for the parasite's source, but they say they belive it is no longer in our area.
