Flood Waters Hold Steady, For Now

IOWA CITY, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- The water is holding steady in Iowa City as officials wait for the water level at Coralville Lake to begin falling.  That remains a concern as rain forecast for this weekend could aggravate flooding along the Iowa River.
Officials hope to begin lowering the water output at the Coralville Reservoir in the coming days.  That would begin to bring the flood waters down in Iowa City and Coralville.
Those still at risk for flooding are closely watching this weekend, as heavy rain could fall across parts of eastern Iowa.  Any rain could cause river levels to rise, potentially bringing water into more homes and businesses.
