Coralville Lake Level Falling

IOWA CITY, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- After days of watching the levels rise, the Coralville Lake is now falling.  Official say it crested Wednesday afternoon.  River levels downstream in Iowa City will remain around 25 feet for a few days until the Army Corps of Engineers can begin cutting back the amount of water they send south of the dam.
Dozens of homes were damaged by flood waters in Iowa City, but officials say it could have been much worse had more rain fallen or the dam not been able to hold back as much water as it did.
