Short Shorts Trigger Shots, Then Arrest

WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) -- Police have arrested a Waterloo man accused of firing a handgun into the air because he was upset that his girlfriend was wearing short shorts.
22-year-old Antonio Demario Bullock was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of aggravated domestic assault and intimidation with a weapon.
Police say Bullock and his 21-year-old girlfriend argued because of her shorts. Officers say that during the argument, Bullock raised a handgun in front of the woman, left the home and fired at least five shots into the air. Police say he then went back inside and told his girlfriend he would hurt her and her children if she told police he had a gun.
Responding officers found spent .380-caliber shell casings outside and a .380-caliber Cobra handgun inside.
