IC Nonprofit Wins Car

   A non-profit in the Corridor has a new way to get around.
   Iowa City's Domestic Violence Prevention Program was chose to be a recipient of a brand new car as part of Toyota's "100 Cars for Good" promotion.
   The Domestic Violence Prevention Program just expanded, and members say having another mode of transportation is priceless.
       "For us to have another resource and specifically a resource that's really appropriate to be able to take a family of four and help them find an apartment or help a mom get a job I just can't say enough about it," said Kristie Fortman-Doser, executive director of the program.
   Members of the public voted for the organization they thought would do the most good with the vehicle.  The Domestic Violence Prevention Program received 29,000 votes.
