Gov. Branstad Orders Flags at Half-Staff for 9/11

DES MOINES, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Governor Terry Branstad is ordering flags at half-staff in honor of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Gov. Branstad is ordering them flown at half-staff from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow to honor those who perished in the attacks. Flags on all public buildings, grounds, and facilities throughout the state will be at half-staff. Individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties and other government subdivisions are encouraged to fly the flag at half-staff for the same length of time as a sign of respect.
