Updated: Thursday, July 3 2014, 02:26 PM CDT
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- After traveling to Washington, D.C. last weekend to participate in the Kevin Durant Nike Elite Skills Academy, University of Iowa senior men’s basketball forward Aaron White has received an invitation to another prestigious summer camp. White will travel to Las Vegas next week to attend the LeBron James Nike Skills Academy, July 9-12.

The LeBron Skills Academy features 30 of the top collegiate players from around the country. Players will have four days of competitive skills workouts and 5-on-5 games in order to showcase their skills for NBA scouts in attendance. Players will take what they learned at the previous skills academies and implement them into a team setting on the floor.

White (6-foot-9, 220 pounds) is a two-time third team All-Big Ten honoree and was also named to the 2012 Big Ten All-Freshman Team. The native of Strongsville, Ohio, became the first Hawkeye to ever amass 1,300 points, 650 rebounds, 100 assists and 100 steals prior to his senior season. White will enter his senior season in 2014-15 ranked 18th in career scoring with 1,301 points.
