GYM: Iowa Releases Schedule

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa men’s gymnastics team released its 2014-15 schedule Wednesday. The Hawkeyes will compete at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on three occasions and will offer an early bird ticket special for a limited time to fans.

Fans who purchase season tickets for the 2014-15 season before Oct. 31 will receive an early bird discount. Adult season tickets are currently being sold for $8, but will jump to $10 after the Oct. 31 deadline. The season ticket purchase grants fans admission to Iowa’s home meets against UIC on Jan. 24, Oklahoma on Jan. 31 and Minnesota and Nebraska on Feb. 14.

To purchase season tickets, visit the UI Athletics Ticket Office located inside the North Entrance of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, call 1-800-IA-HAWKS, or visit hawkeyesports.com.

The Hawkeyes open the regular season at the Windy City Invitational in Chicago, Illinois on Jan. 17, before returning to Iowa City for a pair of home competitions against UIC on Jan. 24 and Oklahoma on Jan. 31. After a meet at Illinois on Feb. 7, Iowa will challenge Big Ten opponents Minnesota and Nebraska on Feb. 14 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Iowa remains on the road for the rest of the regular season, as they compete at the Winter Cup in Las Vegas, Nevada from Feb. 19-21, Penn State on Feb. 27, Minnesota on March 7 and Nebraska on March 14.

The postseason begins with the Big Ten Championships from March 27-28 in University Park, Pennsylvania, and concludes with the NCAA Championships from April 9-11 in Norman, Oklahoma.
