Updated: Thursday, December 19 2013, 08:32 AM CST
88-year old Myron ("Mike") Wilson spends thousands of hours volunteering his time and talents.  Now, the State of Iowa recognized his work and inducted him into the Volunteer Hall of Fame in Des Moines on Tuesday.
A retired electrical engineer from Rockwell Collins, he's spent the last 20 years helping organizations ranging from the Cedar Rapids Symphony, to Four Oaks, to the Linn County Trails Association, to a group of which he's most proud, the Honor Flight.  He says, "It's really exciting to take the people back to Washington, DC.  The comradeship of getting these guys back to together again, is great."
Angela Berns is the Volunteer Services coordinator at St. Luke's Hospital.  She's worked with Mike on the WRAP (Wheelchair Ramp Accessibility Program), "There are a lot people who are leading better, richer lives because of him."CBS2 Heroes - Volunteer Hall of Fame
