Basil Feta Sliders with Homemade Honey Mustard

Honey Mustard

1/2 cup Hy-Vee light mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Hy-Vee prepared yellow mustard

1 tablespoon Hy-Vee Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons Hy-Vee honey

Juice of 1/2lemon



1 pound Hy-Vee93%-lean ground sirloin

1 bunch basil,stemmed and chopped

3 oz. Hy-Vee crumbled feta cheese 

3 cloves garlic, minced

red onion,diced

1 teaspoon kosher salt

teaspoon fresh ground pepper

1 tablespoon Hy-Vee Selects olive oil

Additional salt and ground pepper, to taste


1.      Combine honey mustard ingredients in a small bowl. Adjust seasonings as needed and set aside.

2.      Combine slider ingredients in a large bowl. Shape into 8 slider patties and season with salt and pepper.

3.      Preheat grill to medium high. Cook sliders for 3-4 minutes on each side (for medium).

4.      To serve, place slider patties onto buns and top with honey mustard, lettuce and tomato.
